The vineyards of 2 Kisses
in Rioja Alavesa
The climate
A moderate maritime climate shaped by the Atlantic Ocean. The Cierzo wind naturally dries the vineyards, protecting them from fungi and disease. Their elevation brings cool nights in summer, while winters can be brisk. Regular Atlantic rainfall ensures healthy growth throughout the year.
The terroir
Finca Hollalengua – 100% Tempranillo. Planted north–south to harness protection from the Cierzo wind, these organically farmed vines thrive at 350 meters altitude. Rooted in clay and limestone soils, they yield wines with purity, balance, and authentic Rioja character.
Finca El Tordillo – Tempranillo and Garnacha. Oriented north–south to guard against the Cierzo, these vineyards rise 400–450 meters above sea level. The elevation lends the grapes extra structure and elegance, while the clay-limestone soils provide depth and mineral finesse.
