Perfume: A fresh feel of citrus fruits, grapefruit, orange, lemon and bergamot from the south, accompanied by more floral notes. Flavour: The blend of Grenache Noir & Syrah offers a seductive and slightly complex nose. Strawberry, raspberry, a hint of apricot and more vegetal impressions. Tones of citrus, tangerine, pink grapefruit and lemon peel provide a refreshing feel. Mouthfeel is elegant, gourmet and soft.

climate

Mediterranean climate with hot to very hot summers and mild winters. Due to its proximity to several mountain ridges, the risk of thunderstorms is high. This is therefore the main source of rain. The cold northern Mistral can have a cooling effect in the area.

soil

In the large area some 25 km west of Nîmes, the soil is mainly sandstone mixed with gravel and calcareous clay.

vinification

Low yield of just 15hl/ha. 70% Grenache Noir and 30% Syrah. Manual harvest in small crates, optimal ageing and short maceration complement the ecological vinification culture. Vinification of both varieties is already blended.
