Shiny light yellow color with golden reflections. Lively aromas of ripe exotic fruit and yellow blossom, accompanied by fine hints of shaved wood, delicate spices, toast, almonds, and a touch of honey. The short oak aging perfectly supports the wine, allowing the fruit to shine at all times. Beautifully balanced on the palate, with its complexity becoming more pronounced in the finish.
The refined oak aging ensures a wine that is versatile with food pairings. Serve it with grilled or pan-fried fish, shellfish, poultry, risotto, chicken salads, or vegetarian dishes.

The climate in Rioja Alavesa is more influenced by the Atlantic Ocean than in the rest of Rioja. It is shielded from this northern influence by the Cantabrian mountain range. Combined with high-altitude vineyards, this guarantees short but very warm summers, cooled by northern winds, and long, mild winters with sufficient rainfall.

The name Las Levantadas already suggests it. These are the highest vineyards on the estate, with vines older than 60 years. They were relatively recently replanted (in 2010) and, with their limestone-clay soil and altitude of 600 meters, offer the ideal terroir to produce a white wine of exceptional quality.

Viura 55%, Tempranillo Blanco 10%, and Malvasia 35% are harvested and fermented separately. No malolactic fermentation is performed. The wine undergoes a classic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 22°C, after which the blend is composed. The wine then rests for an additional 4 months on fine lees to give it a more culinary style.
